HCS/HB 106 - This act establishes a program on the inflammatory connective tissue disease, lupus, within the Department of Health. Subject to appropriations, the program shall track lupus incidents in Missouri, identify medical professionals specializing in the treatment of lupus, and promote lupus research. The Department may implement the lupus program by expanding on existing programs, such as the Office of Women's Health, the Office of Minority Health, and the State Arthritis Program.

This act is substantially similar to SB 266 (2001).
